About Elias
Eli is a writer of news, copy, fiction and poetry born and raised in Maplewood. The ouvre of this uniquely old fashioned yet progressive and liberal municipality has permeated his spirit and been sown in the dirt wherever he trod. Despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary, Eli is certain that the axiom, there's no place like home, was inspired by Maplewood.
Eli refers to himself in the third person while writing profiles, but we never refer to ourselves in the third person plural. Check out Eli's writing for hard news, arts and entertainment and features. Are you an interesting person? Got a hot tip? Send Eli a message, and he'll reply promptly and in the first person!
Eli is most recently the author of two upcoming books from Schiffer Publishing. The first to be released, New Jersey Haunts, chronicles the first person accounts of Garden State spookiness. The second is an as-yet-untitled tome dedicated to the many ways peoples have religiously and spiritually utilized mind-altering substances throughout the ages.

Have you relocated? Are you coming back soon? in the distant future? never? Inquiring minds want to know.
