When not covering business topics for national magazines to pay the bills, C.J. Prince enjoys writing about parenting and LGBTQ issues, and is working on a mystery novel.

She is also a cofounder of South Orange Maplewood (SOMA) Pride, which organizes an annual LGBTQ Pride Festival the second weekend in June. 

She lives in Maplewood with her partner, Micheale, their two daughters, Maya and Eliana, and an orange tabby named Mr. Mango Smoothie.
