ReplyThe stand in Summit has nice coffee. I'm sorry to see a local merchant go, and Art is a very good citizen. But I'll enjoy having a decent cup of coffee for a change. Art's coffees were prepared lovingly by Joyce and Candy, but they were crap in the end because Art refused to spend a few extra pennies on the coffee itself.

ReplyIt's against the law for a Section 501(c)3 corporation to engage in electioneering, as the CCR did in the past BOE election. It's a sign of local prosecutorial biases that CCR got away with it. It's up to the CCR's defenders to individually support the organization going forward. The taxpayers as a whole owe the CCR nothing.
