College/ University: Seton Hall University

Major: Public Relations and Journalism

Minor: Broadcast and Visual Media

Currently I am a senior at Seton Hall University, studying to obtain both a major in public relations and journalism, as well as a minor in broadcast and visual media. As a student within the University, I have held previous positions as a sportswriter for The Setonian, the college's student newspaper, as well as a student office assistant within the Department of Public Relations and Marketing. I have also been an active member of 89.5 FM WSOU, ‘Seton Hall's Pirate Radio' since the summer of 2007. This academic year, I have served as the station's Sports Director, with responsibilities including scheduling, developing talent, obtaining interviews and maintaining the department's commitment to professionalism.

On Sunday evenings, I host Pirate Primetime, a weekly sports-talk hour dedicated to Seton Hall sports, which airs on 89.5 FM. For select games, I have served as either the play-by-play or color commentator for WSOU Sports broadcasts of Seton Hall athletics, including men's and women's basketball. Aside from University-related work, I have also interned with several sports organizations such as NBC Sports and the New York Mets. Currently, I am an intern with Major League Baseball Publishing and have contributed to the 2008 Official League Championship Series Program as well as the first and second issues of MLB Insider's Club Magazine.

Aside from sports media, I had the opportunity to assist in the reopening of the Liberty Science Center as a media relations intern in 2007.
