About Judie
Judie Hurtado was born and raised in New York, but now lives in Maplewood, NJ with her husband and two daughters. After spending nearly a decade on the business side of publishing as a Beauty Director at magazines such as Seventeen, she decided to cross over to the other side. Her passion is writing about health and wellness. She has written for magazines such as Time Out New York, Park Place, and Edible Jersey, as well as websites including health.com and vitaljuice.com. She blogs about her health and spiritual adventures at www.judiesjuice.wordpress.com. She is also a Registered Yoga Alliance Yoga Teacher, a Certified Children's Yoga Teacher and a Reiki Practitioner. She teaches adult and children's yoga classes throughout the community.
