ReplyMy Spring kids yoga series at Shakti Yoga (http://www.shaktinj.com/ShaktiKids.htm) began last Tuesday. Your child can still register and receive a prorated rate. I would love to play yoga with your children! Namaste.

ReplyLanah, thank you for writing. A few people who had taken classes from my town (Maplewood) at both locations mentioned that the traffic was bad and that it was easier taking the train in. The one in the city is a block or two from Penn Station so it was convenient.
I have to admit, however, that it's been two years since I took this course and the changes have not lasted. After the Forum, I took their second course. I found that partipants tend to continue taking class after class. It seems, from my perspective, that the effects are hard to maintain. One minor thing has remained with me though and that makes me happy.
Best of luck!

ReplyMartha, good point! I never imagined I would be teaching yoga, especially to children with behavioral and emotional issues but I do feel drawn to this work. I am also looking into taking a yoga series that focuses on depression and anxiety. I feel I could learn a lot and bring that to my adult and children classes.
Eileen, please send them in!
Thanks to you both for posting a comment.
