Turning Tulips, Neighbor

Turning Tulips is a new local mentoring program. Our mission is to improve menstrual equity through education, by Making Periods Pretty! We visit local schools, events and communities to raise awareness on feminine hygiene care and period etiquette, while erasing the stigma surrounding it. The program is meant to cater to their first period and beyond. Turning Tulips also provides products for girls as a subscription service.

The goal is to educate our girls and boys on what it means to "Period Properly." Yes we want to invite boys into the conversation to promote equity and understanding. We also like to include staff and parents to provide them with resources on how to better understand our girls as they evolve into womanhood. Ultimately, your location decides who attends the assembly. We know that having the talk is often something that is overlooked or very hard to do, and Turning Tulips is here to make the inevitable a bit more incredible.
