Dear Mr. Meyer,
Jeff Ward recently wrote an Opinion article titled "We still have cheerleaders". There are many that are insulted by this and have left comments in regards to such. His last comment in response to a reader suggesting he apologize to the cheerleaders was "Cheerleading is an anachronism that needs to fade away!" and that he won't back down. I find it disturbing that in the area that we live that this would be acceptable. Cheerleaders of any age do not deserve to be put down and belittled the way that Mr. Ward has written. I do suggest that something be done regarding this article of his and a formal apology should be made by Mr. Ward. It is okay to state your opinion but an overall article such as his does not just state his opinion but actually is quite disrespectable and unacceptable to all those that choose the extra curricular activity no matter what their sex may be. Please address this matter swiftly as I look forward to a response soon. Thanking you in advance for your cooperation and understanding in this matter.
Sincerely,
Ms. Trilla

Dear Mr Meyer:
I am continually exhausted and disappointed to, day after day, see the continued evisercation of our local community member, Joey Weber, in the Buffalo Grove Patch article "Football Coach Concerned About Bullying." Please take a look at it...you guys are better than this!

Hey Phil, why does Mike Hayes keep deleting my comments? Isn't that an infringement of my constitutional rights? Or is it racial? Sounds like the basis for legal action to me.

Phil. I am curious as to what the Patches policy is on coverage of local municipal elections. Does the Patch support one candidate over another, or one party over another?

Phil, When someone posts something negative about you on a blog what can be done if it is not removed? I had a negative link put on a "topic" I was responding and communicating with that had nothing to do with the actual blog and it was after he was advised to keep it to the topic. I have a business that is under expansion and this person posted a news article that I never was afforded the opportunity to speak with the writer to give my side....I'm ok with that I guess however what I am not ok with is someone who does not know me either personally or professionally attacking me on a blog about a "dog" that is trying to be saved from near death. As with when reporting it as inappropriate not having it removed properly,,,,,how do you do it? who else can I contact?
