ReplyFor those who want to EXTEND the walk -- join us in Maplewood Village (Ricalton Square at 9 am) to walk to the walk and do the entire thing. I will count heads and donate $5/ donation /person ..please join us register for the 5 K, donate and come get some additional exercise and be with friends.

ReplyFirst Aid's 5 K just became bigger! I will walk from Maplewood Village to the squad and invite you to join me and others... show your support, bring your checkbook and walk the walk -- to the squad and do the 5 K when you get there TOO! Meet me in Ricalton Square in Maplewood village ( park across from Movies) and walk the walk to the WALK!!!

Renee, what a great memory and image -- I see it too! He made CPR FUN.. and painless - but so importantly his heart and soul were in his work for Maplewood...just cannot believe this...

Replywcmom -- so sorry to hear this news about your son and his tooth. I know the feeling quite well about wanting to protect the kids, I have two grown sons who were and still are incredibly active at 23 and 25. It is a blessing that the tooth can be fixed, capped, bonded or whatever it is they can do now -- but I'm also gald to hear that was all the damage done. He was lucky! Keep the helmet on and BTW -- please buy a new one now - if the helmet even hit the ground a little.... toss it and replace it.. just in case.

As pointed out here, helmets are clearly made differently for different activities. I will continue to hunt and update you all as I find more good info.
