Schools Chief Finalist for New Job, Lauds Michigan District

South Orange - Maplewood School Superintendent Brian Osborne is a finalist for the same position in Ann Arbor, Mich.  Representatives, including Board of Education members, from Ann Arbor visited South Orange - Maplewood last week.

As part of his application for the position, Osborne explained on video why he is interested in the urban district. He cited the district's "strength" in facing achievement gap and fiscal challenges. 

Osborne will visit schools in the district and will make a final, public presentation to the Ann Arbor Board of Education on Wednesday. The board is expected to make its decision on Friday.
